Cross the international date line, discover new worlds and fascinating animals. Hop on board, it’s going to be an incredible adventure!
To share our love of wildlife through safe interactions and educational presentations that evoke a passion for conservation.
Equator's Edge Wildlife Center is not your typical zoo. We are an educational and conservation center. All tours are small, guided groups. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get to know the animals on a personal basis. All of our animals have been hand raised at our farm, so they love the attention of visitors coming to visit them every day. All shows can be tailored to fit any event from captivating audience shows to closeup encounters like a booth set up. We bring animals to schools, birthday parties, day care centers, summer camps, nursing homes and libraries. We can work with you to create a special program just for your group.
The equator is an imaginary line around the middle of a planet, just under 25,000 miles long. It is halfway between the north pole and the south pole, at 0 degrees latitude. An equator divides the planet into a northern hemisphere and a southern hemisphere.
Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we have our share of fascinating animal species. But the Southern Hemisphere boasts an intriguing array of unusual environments, playing host to some of the most fascinating animals on earth.
So, let’s take a journey to discover life below the equator, see some of these adorable, obscure animals in action. Meet Kangaroos, wallabies, birds, and reptiles from Australia. Meet the world’s largest rodents, the Capybara and Patagonian cavies from South America. Discover African crested porcupines and tortoises from Africa.
Book a trip to see us or schedule a program. We would love to hear from you.
