Tours

Outdoor Fun For Everyone! Pet a kangaroo and so much more.

The only way to visit Equator's Edge Wildlife Center is by booking an appointment. We take a limited number of visitors in each group. Great, outdoor fun for the whole family, guided by professional zoo staff. This tour allows you to get very close and personal with all the animals here and even interact with several of our ambassadors. Our tours are very educational and fun at the same time. It is sure to be a trip you will remember. Not only are you providing your family and friends with the adventure of a lifetime you will also be helping us take care of the residents here at the zoo.

Bring your troop to the zoo! The wildest way to earn your badges.

Brownie Badge Workshop - Pets Badge

Earn a new badge with a better understanding of what makes an animal wild or domestic, and what it takes to care for them. Troops will see sample diets, meet animals through encounters, tour the Zoo and help make an enrichment that will be given to one of the Zoo’s animals.

Junior Badge Workshop - Animal Habitats Badge

Investigate different habitats and the animals that live there through hands-on activities, animal encounters, and a Zoo tour. Troops will learn different ways they can help save endangered species and the unique environments they live in.

Field Trips

School is back in session and your group will go wild for our educational tours!

Our educational tours are designed to supplement and enhance your science curriculum for pre-kindergarten through high school. Field trips are great for schools, summer camps, homeschool groups, and assisted living facilities. We can focus our educational tours to any subject or area you need. Our educators are specially trained in making learning an exciting and wild experience!
